- Establish clear viewing conditions
- Identify anatomical landmarks and obtain a clear 3D mental image of the patient’s anatomical relationships
- Resect the prostate while safely handling the loop electrode
- Coagulate bleeding sources with the loop electrode
- Perform a safety inspection at the end of the procedure
