BTK -Below The Knee Module
Aims to enhance the endovascular skills of physicians who wish to practice the treatment of critical limb ischemia, and focuses on chronic total occlusions (CTO) in vessels below the knee. The module provides several common endovascular revascularization methods, including antegrade/crossover and retrograde techniques. After managing to cross the occlusion, the trainee will be able to perform balloon angioplasty. Virtual patient cases present different occlusion locations, stiffness degree, and length, and presents procedural complications such as perforation.
