The module provides hands-on training for advanced percutaneous coronary interventions, presenting a selection of complex patient pathologies and scenarios, including Coronary Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO), Coronary Bifurcation Lesions, Coronary Left Main Lesions and Coronary Artery Bypass Graft.

The module offers an opportunity to practice a variety of advanced interventional techniques and devices, including CTO catheter, left transradial approach to LIMA graft, bifurcation stenting, provisional optimization technique (POT), kissing balloons and IVUS.

Unique Features: Bifurcation and Coronary CTO Cases

The Advanced Coronary module is the only simulation that allows the trainee to practice bifurcation lesion and Coronary CTO interventional techniques.

New Complication – Carina Shift

In a bifurcation case, when the trainee positions the first stent on the side branch but selects an oversized stent, the lesion will migrate to the main branch carina.
