ANGIO Mentor™

Enhancing Patient Safety

Simbionix ANGIO Mentor™ products are multidisciplinary endovascular surgical simulators that provide hands-on practice of endovascular procedures performed under fluoroscopy in the cath lab, interventional suite or an OR, in an extensive and complete virtual reality simulated environment. Using the ANGIO Mentor™ simulator results in a higher level of professional skills, allowing physicians to provide patients with better care.

Providing the Highest Level of Endovascular Training

The Simbionix ANGIO Mentor provides a complete training solution to learners of all levels and across multiple disciplines including:

  • Interventional Cardiology
  • Interventional Radiology
  • Vascular Surgery
  • Cardiac Surgery
  • Electrophysiology
  • Interventional Neuroradiology
  • Thoracic Surgery

Team associates such as nurses and X-ray technicians may benefit from the training to learn the procedures or join physicians in team training.
Simbionix collaborates with opinion leaders, in order to develop content with meaningful training impact.

An ever expanding library of modules provides a curriculum including basic and advanced cases. The system features more than 17 different endovascular procedures and over 100 patient scenarios.

New content is continuously developed and the existing modules are updated, bringing new procedures and devices to provide the most value possible for the ANGIO Mentor products.

With the addition of Simbionix’s innovative PROcedure Rehearsal Studio™, the number and variety of available patient cases becomes unlimited.

State-of-the-Art Training Technology

A unique technology, developed by Simbionix, provides realistic visualization of human anatomy and instrument activity under live fluoroscopy. ANGIO Mentor simulators combine this technology with a high-end haptic system for visual and tactile feedback, which realistically mimics the look and feel of actual endovascular interventions.

We at Simbionix welcome the input of the Medical Community, and would appreciate your feedback. Please email Iris Harel, Product Manager at iris@simbionix.com.
