Dr. Wallace of Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL Praises the New EUS Module

Michael Wallace, MD, Associate Professor at the Mayo Medical School and Director of Endoscopic Research at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida offered high praises to the advancement of the GI Mentor in an e-mail to Tim Rocco, Vice President of Sales and Business Development. Dr. Wallace was impressed by the realistic quality of the images and great dimension the 3D model adds.

The right adrenal gland, even with years of experience, is difficult to find. Dr. Wallace reported, “After one session on the simulator, using the 3D model to guide me to the right adrenal, I was able to find it. On the next EUS case an hour later, I reproduced the maneuver and found my first right adrenal gland!”.
